Hudson Big Boy Room

We are working to start gathering decor for H's big boy room. There has been a lot of discussion about the "theme" and we have let Hudson decide, while making subtle suggestions. First, he wanted a Minnie Mouse room. We softly swayed him away from that. Then he wanted a "trash truck" room. Again, not the most appealing theme. Then, he wanted a "Fillmore" themed room (his favorite character from Cars). He really likes buses, vans, cars of any kind. So-we have settled on an old-fashioned cars theme with lots of cute volkswagen bus photos to make our little guy swoon over his new room (and hopefully keep him sleeping in it).
Here are a few hints:

Light blue linen bedding with "hudson" in bisque on the sham.

Beautiful dot sheets to match the bedding.

Cool photos.

Amazing quotes (in a warm gray-no yellow background).

And cool "boy" touches.

I think he will love it.
