Since we have lived in the loft, I don't have much housework to keep me busy. So...reading has been easier. Kind of nice, but I will look forward to having a house to take care of too because I love yard work and decorating so much.
But, a couple of books I am starting:
Seriously...this book has got me hooked. I heard about it on NPR. Could be a bit disturbing, as it is an entire book about diseases transmitted to humans by animals (including AIDS). The author travels the globe on his investigation of the next big diseases.
Spillover. About how those pesky diseases that kill millions spillover from animals to humans. Oh and it doesn't help that during his travels he has a difficult time learning about the diseases because most of the doctors doing the research are already dead from the diseases. Should be an interesting read.
And on an entirely different note: What better than a book that discusses spirituality through a story involving living on a boat with a Bengal tiger for 227 days? Not sure there is much...
HAPPY READING
