I am so excited for it to come in the mail...yay for pretty rugs!

Hudson is in love with his new crib sheet. Every morning he wakes up to point to each food and tell me all about it in baby babble. He especially likes to talk about the watermelon! So cute! Loving this new Hungry Caterpillar collection...it keeps our boy occupied during nap time :)

I hope as we enter this weekend, we all remember those who lost their lives, and those who lost children, parents, grandparents and friends ten years ago. I also hope we can all stay focused on what really matters-our families, our love for each other. I hope we can also remember the heroes of that day. I choose not to forget. And I can't believe it has been ten years.

Hug and hold your children tight. Don't forget how lucky you are. Amidst the chaos of daily activities, struggling to get from point A to point B at every hour of the day, trying to pay bills and organize life, don't forget what matters. Hug your husband or your wife, kiss your babies. I know I will be kissing and hugging mine.

Busy weekend!

Our weekend has been busy! Little bit of gardening (MORE MUMS!), We finally removed the dead tree in our front yard, filled that in with sod, and made a new garden in the front of the yard-which I get to use for annuals (fall flowers right now of course). Hudson has been busy-he LOVES going to the Farmer's Market and Nursery for flowers. Fruit and Flowers happen to be two favorites of his. We also have been outside a ton! Poor little guy was exhausted yesterday-took a 2.5 hour nap!

We are excited for another day off today!!
