8 months!

I can't believe that Baby Hudson is 8 months old! (or rather was 8 months old yesterday). He is becoming such a big boy! Hudson is eating three meals of solids a day, and drinking about 7-8, 4 ounce bottles per day. Recent foods that he loves include sweet potato apple yogurt, green bean pear yogurt--sounds weird but actually tastes pretty good (Stonyfield veggie/fruit yogurt combos), acini di pepe (teeny tiny pasta--he thought this was so fun to eat--following his Italian heritage LOL). To date he has eaten: apricots, green beans, peas, peaches, oatmeal, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash (butternut and winter), yogurt, prunes (whenever necessary lol), plums, apples, pears, and baby mum mum rice rusks. He loves sitting in his big boy high chair. He can sit up quite well for long periods of time and loves to play and entertain himself. He is sleeping great in his crib (now that we are back home from our trip) and sleeping about 9-10 hours per night with very few wake ups. He has also been doing well napping in his crib during the day, and on the weekends we get at least one good long nap (which is not characteristic for this boy who never liked to nap). Hudson had a fantastic first Christmas and was super spoiled! Pictures will follow. He did fantastic on both flights to TX and still hasn't melted down on a flight yet. Hudson has been to New York, Philadelphia, and Texas two times. He is a flying expert :). He will move into his big boy car seat this week and we also bought our first baby gate (I found a somewhat attractive one thank goodness). Hudson's new car seat is the Britax Boulevard in the Cowmooflauge print. We hope he likes it. He is also taking baths in the big boy bath tub and his tub seat will also come this week which will mean mommy doesn't have to bend over and hold him up :). Hudson refuses to lay down in his baby tub anymore-he is just too big for that! He also has quite the sense of humor and pretty much thinks everything is hilarious! Here are some pics from today.
