34th week. My Goodness.

Update on the pregnancy:
I am now done with my 33rd week and starting my 34th week. Sheer insanity how quickly this pregnancy is going now! We had our newborn care class yesterday at Mountain Midwifery and we learned so much! The only three classes we have left are our breastfeeding class, cloth diapering class, and Brandon's Daddy Bootcamp class :) He is really excited for the Daddy Bootcamp class-it is through our hospital and is an all male class led by another daddy who actually brings his baby in for the men to see and take care of for a few hours. It is really supposed to be a great class. :)

The baby has been doing well-heartbeat of 130 at my appt last week and measuring right on track. The movements that I feel are pretty constant and especially really early in the morning--so far this baby is not a sleeper (figures). :) Both of his/her parents love to sleep. Ha!

We are making final preparations for baby and will spend the weekend of March 26 getting everything that we don't have and that we need to bring baby home.

Baby Albano's cousin Audrey was born last week-she is so precious! Baby Albano can't wait to meet beautiful Audrey! I can't believe we only have 7 weeks or less until this baby will be here!

Here is what Baby will be doing this week:

Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which will help regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well

Love to all! Have a good week!
